PokeIndie community events

The road to rewards.

We are building the event programme in public, starting small, measuring what is fair, and only introducing cash rewards when the system is ready for them.

Q4 2026 Pilot season

Learn by running real events

Pilot events run every other month: one active event month followed by one quiet month. The breathing room lets us moderate carefully, review feedback, and improve the next edition.

  • October: first pilot event
  • November: review and improvements
  • December: second pilot event
Q1 2027 New event mode

Recorded random winner draws

Launch the equal-chance random selection mode. Approved submissions enter an auditable draw, administrators choose the number of winners, and a polished reveal can be recorded without changing the locked result.

  • Three-week submission window
  • One week for moderation
  • Secure draw and animated reveal
Q2 2027 Fairness research

Measure what gives every game a chance

Bring event statistics together to understand discovery, turnout, vote concentration, campaign reach, and the impact of popularity. The goal is a winner model where smaller games are not invisible.

  • Compare voting and random events
  • Study reach versus genuine support
  • Publish the principles behind selection
Q3 2027 Reward launch

The first real-reward events

Use the Q2 evidence to run the first events with meaningful rewards. Depending on the findings and partners, winners may receive cash prizes, store coupons, platform credit, or a clearly documented combination.

  • Cash and partner coupon rewards
  • Reward details recorded per winner
  • Public results and direct winner emails
Next checkpoint

A reward system indie developers can trust.

The dates describe our direction, not a promise to rush. If the evidence says a system needs more work, fairness wins over the calendar.
