Isometric HTML5 RPG with procedural worlds, four professions, real-time combat, day/night and weather, mounts, fishing, dungeons and local browser multiplayer via a five-character code. Work on mobile.
Overview
Fantasy Realms: Kingdom of Valoria is an isometric RPG playable in your browser or on mobile and desktop devices. The world is generated from a random seed so shared save files place players in the same world. The game is in development.
Mechanics
- Four professions: knight, mage, hunter, and druid — each with different stats, starting equipment, and a share of 42 combat skills.
- Seven skills that increase with use: sword, axe, club, shield, archery, magic, and fishing. (The shield skill increases from taking hits rather than swinging.)
- Real-time combat with aiming, critical hits, status effects, and projectiles; monsters remain on their ground level.
- Day/night cycle (one day = 12 minutes real time), four weather types, and dynamic shadows that change with the sun.
- Mounts, fishing (rods and bait), chests, levers, traps in dungeons, and crafting trophies from craft masters.
Content
- Two continents: Valoria and Aethermoor, divided into 15 regions from marshes to volcanic fields.
- Nine dungeons with 2–4 floors each, each dungeon featuring its own boss.
- Over 40 enemy types including 15 bosses.
- Approximately 165 items, 21 crafting trophies, 14 quests, and nearly 80 NPCs.
Multiplayer
Two-player browser connectivity works via a five-character code: one player starts the game and gives the code to the other. Browsers connect directly (no server). Players can see each other's positions, combat and chat, share experience for shared kills, and, from level 25 (outside city walls), face each other.
